So this is non-fashion related but felt it was just to powerful not to share. Child Soldering, abductions, and sex slavery to anyone is a crime that should be fought against. Doesn't matter where they come from, we all have to treat this as a top priority. Wouldn't you do the same if it was happening in your country, in your community, to your children?

Two days ago Dillard's was having yet another sale (extra 40% off everything in the store that was already on sale!)  which caused me to buy even more stuff, but I got some pretty cute stuff including these Vince Camuto Victorian style lace-up booties. I'm super excited to put them together with an outfit and show them off. I didn't realize though when I bought them that I was following in 2 major celebs footsteps- Jessica Alba and Katie Holmes! Here's how they wore their Camuto booties:

I think I might pair mine with some black super skinny jeans and a chambray/blue jean fitted top from bcbg generation...Once I venture out I'll post photos : )
